		<description>I don't care for pull-up assistance machines or lat pull-downs.  They tend to be less effective and make it easy to cheat the movement.  I do like the rack pull-up idea, which is essentially the idea of the jumping chin-ups that I recommend.  

If you use a weak band, there is a chance it could snap.  You should buy a strong enough band and make sure you don't let all your weight stress the band.  The band is there to assist you, not to support your entire weight.
